Happy Birthday, Haydn!

Happy Birthday to Franz Joseph Haydn!

He's called the "Father of the Symphony"

since he wrote over 100 of them, as well

as nearly 90 string quartets, over 60 piano

sonatas, over 20 operas, and many masses,

concertos, oratorios, choral works, and songs!

Peter & I

I got to hang out with one of my heroes, Peter Yarrow, last night!

Peter was once a member of the singing trio, Peter, Paul & Mary

and has written classic songs, such as "Puff, The Magic Dragon,"

"Day Is Done," "Weave Me The Sunshine," and "Light One Candle!"

last night at Horace Mann for the Davis Thayer Talent Show!

I've been asked to attend this meeting to talk about the 5th Grade 

singing at the Bruins game, but I'm sure I'll discuss the rescheduled 

Night of the Arts, as well as the annual Jefferson Spring Carnival!
