19 years ago, I was at a crossroads... I was living up
in Boston and trying to decide if I should stay on at
Perkins School for the Blind as a Music Therapist or
accept this new job as an elementary music teacher in
this town I'd never been to before called Franklin...
although I'd just finished my music ed degree, I was
really loving my time at Perkins... needless to say, I
think, I made a fantastic choice and have never looked
back ever since... I feel so very fortunate... Now, here's
a photo from my time in Hollywood, CA, in the 1980s:
